Project Details
Contor was selected to undertake the sensitive restoration of 84 original timber windows at The Zion Community Centre. This heritage project required specialist joinery skills to preserve the building’s architectural character whilst ensuring long-term durability and performance.
Scope of Works
The restoration programme involved the careful assessment and repair of each window, including the precision splicing of new timber sections to replace deteriorated elements. All windows were hand-sanded to remove defects and prepare surfaces, followed by the application of a full paint system to provide lasting protection and restore the windows to their original appearance.
