Project Details

Contor and our design team partners delivered a robust solution for our client which included the design and installation of entrance feature cladding, structural steelwork for main entrance roof formation and tenant signage.

The external elements were completed with the installation of a new shopfront entrance and sliding door arrangement to both the front and side elevations of the building.

The internal repurposing throughout the units included the strip out of all mechanical and electrical installations and alterations to the existing fire alarm and security system and floor restoration works to provide a suitable substrate for tenant fit-out. The existing roof cladding was fully refurbished and included the installation of new Plygene gutter linings to all of the existing valley gutters within the 30,000ft2 roof area.

External works included new parking areas, streetlighting alterations, paving and a new garden sales area.

As a result of the solutions developed by Contor and the design team this scheme was able to attract the necessary life-cycle guarantees and secure a key national retail operator.
