Case Study | St Marys R C Primary School – Failsworth

Contor were appointed to develop the cost, strategic plan and delivery for the Nursery refurbishment to St Marys R C Primary School in Failsworth, Manchester.

Our scope of works included the design and installation of a brand new heating system, new classroom layouts complete with new floors, wall partitioning and ceiling finishes.

With constant communication with the schools on site team we demolished all the old walls, shelving and partitions, stripped out the existing mechanical and electrical services to make way for the construction of new “boys and girls” toilets, classrooms, communal areas along with a staff utility room.

In order to do so at the highest quality and in a cost effective way, we provided new finishes to walls, floors, lighting and ceilings.  New electrical, heating and plumbing systems were also installed. All works were completed on time within the summer holiday period, to allow the pupils and staff to commence new term in the new nursery with no disruption.
