Contor were appointed by our client Cargo 2 Go to repurpose and refurbish this commercial building in Cheadle to create a brand new logistics office for the company.

This was an existing run down police station with prison cells. The building was listed therefore of local importance. Our client required costs for a sympathetic conversion into modern offices to which he could relocate the office staff of his logistics delivery business.

This contract was taken from inception, through costings, design to construction and turn key handover. Throughout the process we worked closely with our client managing budget and expectations. Ensuring the building when complete satisfied the requirements for a busy and thriving delivery business.

The scheme consisted of the full internal refurbishment of current layout, M&E services and installation of new partition walls.  New kitchens, WC facilities and communal spaces were provided within the new layout complete with new carpeting decoration and finishes throughout.
